Bang for the buck

Do you hear that? The death knell rings. Just as records, eight-tracks and cassettes died before it, the compact disc is huffing its scratchy last breaths.
You need an MP3 player.
It would be nice if we could all drop $400 on a 4GB iPod Touchscreen. Similarly, it would also be nice to have a flying car. So for the financially restrained, SanDisk offers its 1GB Sansa Express. For only $40 the Sansa offers iPod functionality without the required ‘arm and a leg’ price.
The size of an index finger and available in a variety of colors, the Sansa copies its USB interface and multi-functional playlists from its big brothers at Apple. The downside to this little giant comes in firmware glitches (which require a fairly simple hard reset) and buttons that sometimes refuse to follow orders. However, the pros of price and functionality far outweigh any glitches or button problems the Sansa may have. The SanDisk 1GB Sansa gives great bang for the buck.
