Big Rig brings big sound

Disco Big Rig can sum up their music in a simple phrase: original, whiskey-drenched rock n’ roll. The group sounds like a combination of Widespread Panic and Drive-By Truckers, without the female vocals of the latter. Big Rig’s jam-band vibe has a Southern twang to it; reflecting their Upstate roots. The quintet boasts four vocalists and two guitarists, providing a full sound. All of their songs are original, and they intend to keep it that way. With all of their experience and creativity combined, Big Rig is able to continually create new music for live shows. Disco Big Rig draws inspiration from major artists like Bob Dylan and Gov’t Mule, and especially from their peers in the local music scene.
