Eva van Dok has spent the last eight years performing her one-woman show around the world. ā€œEaten Aliveā€ dives into the secretive world of eating disorders, hoping to educate young people of its struggles. The Broadway actress portrays five females, all coping with an eating disorder at different points in their lives. van Dok’s personal connection to the topic has kept her going. (She struggled with anorexia/bulimia as a child.) The play comes at an appropriate time, as March is National Eating Disorders Awareness Month. A question and answer session with van Dok will follow the production. van Dok has performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and at regional theatres. She appeared in the films ā€œPandora Machineā€ and ā€œMillennium Crisis.ā€
