Swan song for 'Scrubs'

With the writers’ strike resolved it looks like “Scrubs” may finally end. And that’s a good thing. The series that had expected a full season send-off will at least now get a proper ending. TV shows are long held in regard of how their series finale plays out. Every “Cheers” fan remembers Sam packing up the bar at the end of the night and turning out the lights just like every “M*ASH” fan can still see the stone-written “Goodbye” that B.J. left Hawkeye. Instead of going out with a whimper, “Scrubs” can have the bang it’s earned through a seven-season run. Will the employees of Sacred Heart continue on the same path that they leave us on, like the patrons of Cheers, or will they scatter across the country like the members of the 4077th? Regardless, if the finale is well received, at least there will be one to be received.
