Clemson University students might have had bad luck with the last sneak preview they saw, the gross-out “comedy” with Dane Cook called “Good Luck Chuck.” Will they have better results with the new Ben Stiller movie called “The Heartbreak Kid”?
While on his honeymoon, Eddie Cantrow (Stiller) discovers that his wife is, among other things, someone who loves singing terrible songs during road trips. Making the nightmare more difficult, he finds another woman who he kinda sorta likes better. And wouldn’t you know it? Ben’s dad, comic legend Jerry Stiller, is in the movie too.
Only those with Clemson IDs can get in the Oct. 3 screening, and Clemson Live encourages an early arrival to guarantee seating at McKissick Theater.
