Description: Education Foundation of Oconee County will host its annual BBQ Cook-off sanctioned by the S. C. Barbeque Association in downtown Seneca at Norton-Thompson Park on Saturday, May 24, 2008. Cooking will begin on Friday night with local bluegrass bands providing entertainment. BBQ judging will occur Saturday morning with BBQ plates available for purchase from 12:00 noon until 4:30pm. Proceeds for the annual BBQ event will benefit the mini-grants program for teachers in Oconee County Schools.
